Candied Pecans

These sweet pecans are classics during the Christmas season. You can bake them and give them as a gift to your friends. I tried them in a salad and I really liked it! They are also really good for a quick snack, just to treat yourself.

Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar ½ tsp salt

½ tsp cinnamon ½ tbsp unsalted butter 1 tbsp water 2 cups of roasted pecans ( if you only have raw you can roast them for 5 to 7 minutes at 400f)


Instructions


In a saucepan on medium heat combine brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, butter and water. Cook it until it gets bubbly and quickly add the pecans to the mixture. Cook the pecans around 3 minutes and mix them frequently. Make sure they're nicely coated with the sugar. Place the pecans on baking paper and let them cool off. You can store them for a week in a sealed container or freeze them up to two months. Enjoy!
