My name is AnaCristina but my friends call me "La Canana", my father's last name. I'm from El Salvador, Central America and Kevin is from Washington state. In El Salvador they call Kevin "El Kevin" or "El Chele Campero" because of his love for Pollo Campero ( a very popular restaurant in El Salvador)

After a very short long-distance relationship, Kevin and I got married. It has been the craziest adventure of our lives! Being an intercultural couple has been a challenge but it has given us the ability to love and appreciate the beauty of other cultures. The kitchen for us has been our sacred place. There we have learned how to interact as a team and to express our love by pleasing each other in each dish.

Before COVID we didn't have much time to cook, but now that we're working from home this got out of control! We want to share with you our favorite recipes, we hope you like them.

Initially, we wanted to print a cookbook to share with all of you. After seeing how much it would cost us ... we decided to open a blog ... Yay! The reality is that we love you all and want to stay connected until we can hug you again.
